This assignment was something else when constructing. Construction of the assignment was simple. Taking cells and summing them up and also locking the markup % to add it to cost. The real work that requires critical thinking was the recommendations to make the organization profitable.
One of the familiar assignments throughout the semester. Reason being is that me and a friend built his gaming PC from scratch. He bought the shell, we looked into graphic cards, processors, and monitors. He also installed a water cooling system for it which has lines that light up bright. The PC was about 4k total for everything. This assignment was similar but instead the PC was going to be used for telecommuting by an employee instead of gaming purposes.
This assignment I did it based on a small restaurant located in Pismo, CA. Describes the flow of processes beginning with a customer being hungry. The process involves everything from ordering food, to the food being prepared and delivered, and ending with receiving payment.
Coming into IS-130 I was actually excited to learn and apply new computer applications. I enjoyed the SAP Logon assignment, the assignment was pretty much straight forward with the instructions. Assignment was creating and editing orders made by customers. The DSS Excel assignment was probably the most simple assignment as I have been working with excel for about 3 years now. I know shortcuts in the software and I know how to lock-in cells and repeat them along with creating IF statements and graphs from scratch. The BPBM assignment has been the only one that made me struggle more than it should have. I couldn’t figure out that well how to set it up when starting but once I got started it seemed not too bad. I was probably just new to school work again after a long summer, meaning I had to get into the habit again.
